Can I receive a Vimeo discount?

Vimeo currently offers a student discount and a non-profit discount (which can be received by contacting us with your documentation). Outside of these cases, our support team is unable to fulfill additional discount requests.

For other promotions and offers, we recommend making sure you opt in to the “Cool Deals” emails under Vimeo News the Notification Settings. When exclusive deals are available, we will let you know!

Can I receive a Vimeo subscription for free?

Vimeo currently offers a free trial for our Vimeo Plus, Pro, and Business tiers. You can access this via our Upgrade page.

Outside of this, our support team is unable to fulfill requests for free access to paid Vimeo subscriptions.

Does Vimeo have a discount for students?

Vimeo currently has a student discount available through our partnership with StudentBeans. Please visit their website to take advantage of this offer.

You will be required to verify that you're a current student to receive your unique promo code. Then, simply enter your code at checkout to save 50% on an annual Vimeo Plus, Pro, Business, or Premium membership. 

Limit one discount per person. Offer applies to only first-time subscriptions and will renew at full price after the first year of membership. Code expires in 30 days.

Does Vimeo have a discount for non-profit organizations?

Non-profit organizations are eligible to receive a one-time 20% off promo code. If your Vimeo account is for a non-profit organization, contact us. We will require some official documentation showing your organization's non-profit status to provide this code.

Does Vimeo have any subscription discounts that work on renewals?

At this time, all of Vimeo’s promo codes are for one purchase only--we do not have any promotional codes for a recurring or permanently discounted subscription.

Does Vimeo have a referral program?

Vimeo currently has a referral program which you can access on the Referral page.

On the above page, you will find options to share your Vimeo referral link via email, Facebook, Facebook Messenger, or Twitter. 

Your friends who sign up through your link will save 25% on their first annual Plus, Pro, or Business membership. You will get a $50 U.S. Amazon Gift Card for every friend who signs up and remains on the service for more than 30 days.

Each user is able to refer up to 10 friends in total. Due to this, the referral program is not ideal for users looking to advertise Vimeo. For this, we instead recommend Vimeo's affiliate program.

Does Vimeo have an affiliate program? Can I put Vimeo ads on my site?

Vimeo has an affiliate program through our partnership with CJ Affiliate.

For every member who signs up for Vimeo through an ad on your site, you will receive a payout. The payout is a percentage commission based on which annual subscription plan the user purchases.
